All zeitlens systems are hosted in the European Union. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the EU. That applies to your account, your sample data and your report.
Pseudonymised from the start
Your sample is labelled with an ID number only. The labs that process it never see your name or your contact details. Your personal details and your lab data are stored separately and linked only through a pseudonymisation key, which is itself stored separately and protected.
Your explicit consent comes first
Under the GDPR, genetic and health-related data are a special category of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR). We only process them with your explicit consent, which you give when you activate your kit, before you take the sample. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Never used for marketing
Your results are never used for marketing or advertising, and we do not show you ads based on them.
Research only with separate consent
Research helps improve the science of aging. We only use your data for research if you give separate, optional consent. Saying no has no effect on your test or your report, and you can change your mind at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent and to have your data deleted. You can exercise these rights at any time. Our privacy policy explains how.
Your report, only for you
Your report is available in your personal, encrypted portal. Only you decide whether you share it with anyone else.
